Timothy Richard Dunn

YOUNGSVILLE, NC Mr. Timothy Richard Dunn of Youngsville, NC passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the age of 65.Born in Halifax County on October 16, 1955, he was the son of the late Richard Dunn, Jr and the late Audrey Clardy Dunn and was married to Edith Champion Dunn. He enjoyed hunting, farming and was a dedicated worker, previously employed with Georgia Pacific and the Fred Smith Asphalt Company. In addition to his loving wife, Timothy is survived by his aunts and uncles, Frances Cox of Orange, VA, Glenda Dunn of South Boston, Willie Lee Overton of Buffalo Junction, Myra Shelton (Jimmie) of Stoneville, NC and Virginia Dunn of South Boston; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 26th at 2PM in the Brooks Lyon Chapel with the Reverend Ian Rigney officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 25th from 7:00PM until 8:30PM.
