Clarksville, VA Timothy Graham Hayes, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.He was born January 8, 1957 in South Boston, Virginia, to Helen Carden Hayes and the late Graham Evans Hayes of Clarksville, Virginia.Tim was a Certified Public Accountant and an insurance professional. Tim loved doting on his grandchildren, listening to music, and taking care of others.He was quick with a story or a joke and made friends with everyone he met.He bravely fought cancer with dignity and grace and was taken too soon. Tim is survived by his wife Judith Marshall Hayes; daughter Jodi Valeri (Brian Heberlig) of McLean, Virginia; son Kirk Hayes (Allison) of London, U.K.; mother Helen of Clarksville, Virginia; sister Deborah Pulliam (Ronnie) of Virgilina, Virginia; grandchildren Quinn, Marin, and Beck Heberlig and Harrison and Hadley Hayes; and nieces Robin McAlexander and Kelly Ballance.He was predeceased by his father Graham and brother David B. Hayes. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, July 8, 2018 in the Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel with burial to follow at Hitesburg Baptist Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm on Saturday, July 7th at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.The Reverends Ian Rigney and Rodney Barwick will officiate.The family will be receiving friends at the home of Ronnie and Deborah Pulliam, 4026 Aarons Creek Road, Virgilina, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Suite 550, Chicago, Illinois 60631.
