Tina Kay Lacks

SOUTH BOSTON - Mrs. Tina Kay Lacks of Melon Road, South Boston, entered into rest on Friday, May 18, 2018 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on September 5, 1968 in Pittsylvania County, the daughter of the late John William Gentry and the late Ann Bowman Gentry and was married to Douglas Michael Lacks.She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Lacks is survived by three daughters, Autumn Campbell, Nicole Wilson, Crystal Royster and her husband, J.R., all of South Boston; seven grandchildren of South Boston; sister, Pamela Perkins and her husband, Doug of South Boston; and numerous other family members. Funeral services for Mrs. Lacks will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Reverend Jack Stewart and Reverend Norman Talley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service and at other times at the home, 6041 Melon Rd., South Boston.
