Tommy Jackson "T. J." Martin

Mr. Tommy Jackson “T. J.” Martin, Jr. Of 1121 Guill Town Road, Clover, VA died April 24, 2011 at the age of 38. He was born in Halifax County on June 21, 1972 the son of Tommy Jackson Martin, Sr. and the late Joy Lee Redd Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of Clover Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include his father Tommy Martin, Sr. and his wife Virginia, of Clover; Grandmother Iris Redd of Clover, VA; two Step-brothers, Roger Lambert and Jason Lambert both of Altavista, VA; a special Aunt, Ethel Everhart of Scottsburg; Special friend, Gary L. “Popcorn” Snead of Clover and a number of other Aunts, Uncles, and close friends. “T.J.” was preceded in death by his mother, his Grandfather John Redd, Grandparents Andrew Jackson Martin & Virginia Glass Martin, and his special Aunt and Uncle; Cathy and James Irby. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Clover Cemetery with Rev. Lloyd Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 and at other times at the home of Tommy and Virginia Martin, 1059 Martin Trail, Clover.
