Troy Eugene Newcomb

Mr. Troy Eugene Newcomb of Tracy, CA passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the age of 47.Born in South Boston, VA on October 22, 1971, he was the son of Gordon B. Newcomb and Addie Jennette Covington. Troy later moved to Lynchburg, VA after taking employment with Gladden Equipment Erectors. He then relocated to Tracy, CA in October 2007. He was a much loved son, brother, and father to his beautiful children. Other than his parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Terri Newcomb; his children, Tavin and Tristyn Newcomb of Rustburg, VA and Troy Newcomb, Jr. of Tracy, CA; his sisters, Tammy Robinson-White of South Hill, VA and Kimberly Childress of Lynchburg, VA; his brother, Stephen Newcomb of Scottsburg, VA; his stepbrother, Brian Smith of Warsaw, VA; his nieces, Skylar Cash and Londyn Ruby Farner, both of Lynchburg; his nephews, Joshua Ryan Robinson of South Hill and Eli Owen Newcomb of Scottsburg; and numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11:00AM at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Skipwith, VA with the Reverend Curtis Newcomb officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service and at the home of his sister Tammy Robinson-White, 2705 Skyline Road, South Hill, VA.
