Vilma Nunn Mcclellan

Vilma Nunn McClellan, 75, widow of Edgar Samuel McClellan, Jr., died Thursday, July 8,2004 in South Boston. Mrs. McClellan, daughter of the late James Leonard and Blanche Davis Nunn, was born and reared in Mecklenburg Co.; graduated Clarksville High School class of 1945 and attended Averette College. She was a member of Clarksville Baptist Church and worked at Robbins Mill, now known as Burlington Industries. Graveside services will be 2 PM Sunday at Oakhurst Cemetery with Reverend H.V. Conner officiating. Surviving Mrs. McClellan are a son, Edgar Samuel ''Mac'' McClellan, III of Clarksville; a daughter, Mary McClellan Laughinghouse of Danville; a sister, Brenda N. Davis of South Boston; and a grandson, Tyler Simms Laughinghouse of Danville. The family will receive friends Saturday 7-9 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
