Vivian Carlton Winn Moss

Mrs. Vivian Carlton Winn Moss of Wake Forest, NC, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the age of 84.Born in Mecklenburg County, VA December 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William Robert Carlton and the late Mary Coleman Carlton and was first married to the late Thomas Elmo Winn and then the late Victor Morgan Moss. Vivian was a graduate of Boydton High School, class of 1950 and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.She operated Vivian’s Beauty Shop in Chase City, Boydton and Clarksville and at her retirement had 47 years of service. Survivors include daughters, Susan Edwards of Wake Forest, NC and Brenda Hatcher of Skipwith , VA;sister, Lois Glasscock of Boydton and 7 grandchildren. Other than her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by a son, Brad Winn. Funeral services for Vivian Carlton Winn Moss will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Jason Dohn and The Reverend Randy Baisey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Skipwith, Va.
