Vivian J. Stevens

ROANOKE, VA - Vivian J. Stevens, 88 of Roanoke died Thursday, August 4, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Matthews Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leroy Stevens; son, Roger A. Stevens; brother, James Jones; sisters, Lucie Gravitt and Audrey Gravitt. She is survived by her son, James T. Womack and Remona Owens; daughter, Fay Womack Daskalov and husband Nikolai; grandchildren, Vivian Poff and husband Randy, Joshua Lucion and wife Ashley, Adeira Wright and Tia Pugh; 9 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel. Another visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 1 to 2 pm at Brooks-Lyon Funeral Home, South Boston, VA followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Virgilina Cemetery, Halifax County, VA.
