Walter Colon Dink Garner, Iii

Walter Colon "Dink" Garner III, 40, husband of Terra Bryant Garner, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Dink was born December 13, 1970 to Walter Colon "Buddy" Garner, Jr. of Clarksville, and June Huff Garner, deceased, in Oxford, NC. A truck driver, Dink loved to hunt, fish, and drive fast. Funeral services will be 4PM Saturday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Carl Benton officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery. In addition to his wife and father, Dink is survived by his children, Matthew and Wyatt Garner of Clarksville, brother, Tim Garner and niece and nephew, Amber and Brandon Garner, all of Buffalo Junction, and his step-mother, Linda Garner of Clarksville. His step-sisters, Tammy Boyd, Lora Keelings, and Jerri Michelle Cooke, all of Oxford, and Wendy Cooke, of Florida, also survive. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting 3PM at the funeral home.
