Wayne Huff

CLARKSVILLE,VA. Robert "Wayne" Huff, 72, died Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was born October 17, 1943 in Person County, NC to the late Flem Edward and Mary Elizabeth Critcher Huff. Wayne worked as a data processing manager for forty years at Burlington Industries. He was the past president and lifetime member of the Mecklenburg Rescue Squad. He was a member at Clarksville Baptist Church and loved the farm. He will be remembered for his great love of his children and grandchildren. Mr. Huff is survived by his wife, Patricia Chewning Huff of fifty three years; children Sterlin Huff (Debra), Crystal Huff, and Tara Huff DiGiacomo (J. P.); grandchildren Michael Huff (Kristin), Michele Hesler (Austen), Zachary Williams, Brittany Malone, Sirena DiGiacomo, and Raven Huff; great grandchildren Aran, Natalie, and Serenity; and brother Claude Edward Huff (Moneta).Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and his sister June Garner. Visitation for friends and family will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, Clarksville, Virginia. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Clarksville Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. Greg Randall followed by interment at Oakhurst Cemetery.
