Wendy Dunn Lowery

Roxboro, NC - Wendy Dunn Lowery passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the age of 37. She was born on March 7, 1981 in Person County, NC to late John Wayne and Betty Wilson Dunn. Wendy was a Class of 2000 graduate of Person County Senior High School and worked as a paramedic for the Person and Granville County EMS. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Roxboro. Wendy is survived by her daughter Tayla Lowery; sonJonathan Lowery; brothers Bobby Wayne Dunn and Billy Joe Dunn all ofRoxboro, NC; sister Amy Crute and her husband, Bobby, of Timberlake, NC and boyfriend, Kevin Newcomb also of Roxboro. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Peggy Jean Dunn. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, VA.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Roxboro, NC.
