Wilda Earline Wilborn

Mrs. Wilda Earline Wilborn of 317 Chalmers St., South Boston, VA died Friday, December 13, 2013 at the age of 67. She was born on April 12, 1946 to the late Oakley and Margaret Vaughan and was married to James E. "Jimmy" Wilborn. Mrs. Wilborn was a homemaker and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James E. "Jimmy" Wilborn; three sons, J. Anthony Wilborn and wife, Debbie, Charles Wilborn and wife, Donna, and Michael Wilborn and wife, Rhonda; one daughter, Angela Wilborn; special friend, Jerri Allen; four brothers, Marshall Vaughan and wife, Barbara, David Vaughan and wife, Judy, Wayne Vaughan, and Wesley Vaughan; three sisters, Geraldine Young and husband, James, Carolyn Overby and husband, Jink, and Audrey Birchfield; and five grandchidren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, William Vaughan. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Red Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at her home, 317 Chalmers St., South Boston, VA. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
