Wiley Blaine Parsons

Mr. Wiley Blaine Parsons, 86, died Wednesday afternoon, September 7, 2005 at his home. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 10 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lansing by Pastor Sean Brigman. Burial followed in the Parsons' Cemetery with military rites. Mr. Parsons was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Hazel Greene Parsons, who passed away August 17, 2004. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Larry Elliott of Lansing; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Cookie Parsons, of Lansing; two grandsons, Michael Elliott and wife, Alyson of Clarksville, VA; and John Parsons, of Lansing; one granddaughter, Emily Parsons of Warrensville; one great-granddaughter, Jane Clare Elliott, of Clarksville, VA.
