William "Billy" Allen Snead

William “Billy” Snead, of Red Oak, VA, passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 82. He was formerly of Clover, VA and was the son of the late Luther Hampton and Ruth Snead. Billy is survived by his wife, Nancy, of the home; son, Ray Snead of Keysville; step-daughters, Shirley Cox (Button) of Chase City and Joanne Davis (James) of Rustburg; step-son, Steve Seamans (Valaria) of Boydton; step-grandsons, B.J. Seamans, Brad Davis, Andrew Davis, Jason Cox and step-granddaughters, Amber Hara and Heather Cox. Additionally, he is survived by sisters, Barbara Lacks and Gayle Snead of South Boston and Nancy Irby of Drakes Branch. Billy was preceded in death by a brother, L.H. “Bear” Snead, Jr., step-granddaughter, Michelle Cassada and step-grandson, Shaun Cassada. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Reverend Jane Lyon officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.wclfh.com.
