William Lloyd Davis

Mr. William Lloyd Davis of 1106 Grove Ave., South Boston, VA died Monday, May 13, 2013 at the age of 67. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on April 15, 1946 to the late Albert Davis and the late Alice Newby Davis. Mr. Davis was a painter and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two sisters, Bertha Martin and Margie Jones both of South Boston, VA; one brother, Albert Davis of South Boston, VA; nieces and nephews, Dean Martin, David Martin, Robert Nolan Martin, Michael Jones, Christopher Jones, Rhonda Davis, Robbie Davis, Carolyn Perkins, Sherlon Hogg, David Hamm, Carolyn Yancey, Marion Haskins, Jimmy Haskins, Walter Choplin, and Evelyn Francis; Numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joe Davis and Lewis Davis, and four sisters, Elsie Hamm, Lavania Yancey, Lossie Choplin, and Inez Morris. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Don Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Bertha Martin, 1108 Wilborn Ave., South Boston, VA 24592.
