William John "Bill" Haden

William John "Bill" Haden a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the age of 82. He was born in Toronto, Canada on June 13, 1928 to the late Joseph and Rose Woodley Haden and was married to Estelle Burton. Mr. Haden was a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. He was retired from Grove Manufacturing and was a member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife; son, Edward Haden and wife, Bonnie of Abingdon, MD; daughters, Linda Shepperd and husband, Don of South Boston and Cynthia Baker and husband, Jim of Chambersburg, PA; grandsons, Chad Haden, Curtis Haden, Chris Haden, Matthew Shepperd, Justin Shepperd, and Ross Shepherd; and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace Isabel Haden. Funeral services for Mr. Haden will be held on Saturday, September 11 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dave Anderson and Rev. Susan Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Friday, September 10 from 7 until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home of Linda & Don Shepperd, 2010 Westmoreland St., South Boston.
