William Thomas Hendren

Mr. William Thomas Hendren of 621 Berry Hill Rd., South Boston died Friday, July 16, 2010 at the age of 77. He was born in Halifax Co. on June 28, 1933 to the late Thomas Tyre Hendren and the late Lucille Borbour Hendren. He was a retired auto body worker for Ford Motor Co. and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Boston, MA. Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Benner of Friendship, ME and Christine Starrett of Warren, ME; sisters, Nelli Poindexter, Odell Davis, Janice Weathers, Janice Weathers, all of Boston, MA and Bailey Jennings of Volens; a brother, Theodore Hendren of Boston, MA; grandchildren, Jennice Nattress and Nichols Starrett; and a great grandchild, Warren Nattress. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Corine Dorsey. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
