William Henry "Bill" Link

Mr. William Henry "Bill" Link, Jr. of 2076 Link-Puryear Rd., South Boston, VA died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Wake Medical Center at the age of 69.. He was born in Halifax County on September 29, 1940, the son of the late William Henry Link, Sr and the late Elizabeth Rogers Link. Mr. Link was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and a retired construction insulator for Fluor-Daniels. Mr. Link is survived by his wife, Ruby Jane Harris Link of the home, a son; Dale Link and his wife, Liz of South Boston; a daughter; Lisa L. Murray and her husband, Willie of South Boston; brothers; Emmitt Link of Alton, Bernice Link and his wife, Linda, Bruce Link and his wife, Margaret, Earnest Link and his wife, Margaret; sister Violet L. Deal and husband Jay, all of South Boston; grandchildren, Ashley Link, Morgan Link, Drew Link, and Brittney Murray. Mr. Link was preceded in death by his sister-in-law; Carolyn Link. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. John Flood and Rev. Jim Smith officiating and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
