Willie Leon "Pat" Dalton

Mr. Willie Leon "Pat" Dalton of 2189 Cherry Hill Church Rd., South Boston died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the age of 80. He was born in Climax, VA on December 24, 1930 to the late Tony S. Dalton, Sr. and the late Janie Overcash Dalton and was married to the late Doris Newton Dalton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a retired service manager for Crowell Motor Co., and a member of Black Walnut Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Cheryl Dalton Roller of South Boston,VA, Connie Murray of Virgilina,VA, Vickie Chilton and Patricia Dalton, both of Pelham, NC; a son, Jack Daniel of Cary, NC; nine grandchildren, David Roller, Brittney Roller, Jan Murray Smith, Olivia Daniel, Jesse Spicer, Sr., James Spicer, Jr., Carmen Smith, Jackie Montoya and Patrick Colgan; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Eure officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home Saturday from 7 until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home, 2189 Cherry Hill Church Rd., South Boston.
