Wilson Lane Tuck

Virgilina, VA - Mr. Wilson Lane Tuck of Virgilina, went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at the age of 69. He was born in Halifax County on May 24, 1950, to the late Benjamin Pool Tuck, Jr. and the late Cecil Wilson Tuck and was married to the late Joan Wilbourne Tuck. He was a tobacco farmer and loved being outdoors and was a member of Florence Avenue Baptist Church. He was a veteran having served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam war and received two purple hearts. He loved his children and grandchildren and is survived by his daughter, Scottie Tuck Elliott (Stacy); son, Benjamin Snead Tuck; grandchildren, Emma Layne Elliott, Evan Dale Elliott, Elizabeth Paige Elliott, and Kolbie Ann Tuck; sisters, Wanda Tuck Day and Winnie Beverly Tuck; and Zoey, his 4-legged pal. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a brother, William Brann Tuck, Sr. A private graveside will be held in Virgilina Cemetery.
