Woodson Randall "Randy" Glasscock

VIRGILINA - Mr. Woodson Randall “Randy” Glasscock, II of Virgilina passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the age of 69. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on April 10, 1948 the son of the late Woodson Randall Glasscock and the late Dorothy Stigall Glasscock. Randy was a 1966 graduate of Halifax County High School and a graduate of Appalachian State University. He was a retired teacher in Ocracoke, NC. Mr. Glasscock is survived by two daughters, Gabriel Glasscock Tuttle of Thomasville, NC and Theo Glasscock-Vogel of Milton, NC; a son, Joshua Randall Glasscock of Alton; sisters, Teresa G. Elliott of Clarksville and Suellen G. Horton of Oxford, NC; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Aaron Kincaid Glasscock. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Union Christian Church in Virgilina, VA with Reverend Norman Talley officiating. Burial will follow in Virgilina Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Union Christian Church for one hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Lake Country SPCA, PO Box 14, Clarksville, VA 23927.
