Zephana Berkley Rogers

Mrs. Zephana Berkley Rogers, 78, widow of Clarence Melton Rogers, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004 in South Boston. The daughter of Robert Lee and Peggy Whitlow Berkely, she was born and reared in Charlotte County, Virginia. A graduate of Randolph Henry High School, she married C.M. on December 14, 1947 in Antioch Baptist Church. While a military wife, she traveled the world with her husband, but retired back to Charlotte County in 1969. Funeral services will be 2PM Sunday, August 8, 2004 at Antioch Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Mrs. Rogers is survived by daughters, Deborah Carol Bailey of Fort Mitchell, Janet Leigh Lenhart of Chase City, Pamela Kay Rogers of Blackstone, and Brenda Gayle Lenhart of Red Oak; son, Steve Rogers of Saxe; sister, Virginia Berkley West of Vinton; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
