Betty Cromwell Adcock

Betty Cromwell Adcock, 72, wife of Burnett Adcock, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg. Betty was born March 20, 1940 in Carter County, MO to the late Robert Malcolm and Sarah Lee Jenkins Cromwell. She retired from the PX on Fort Lee. Funeral services will be 3PM Wednesday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Lee Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Bluestone Cemetery. In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her children, Janice Elaine Flanagan of Newport Beach, CA; Keith A. Adcock of Petersburg and Kenneth B. Adcock of Powhatan, and four grandchildren. Her sisters, Donna Quinn, Ophelia Romerro, Robie Shearrer, and Geraldine Eaton, and brother, Robert Malcolm Cromwell also survive. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, starting at 2PM.
