Edward Martin Allen

Edward Martin Allen, 89, widower of Virginia Lee Brown Allen, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at his home in Buffalo Junction. Mr. Allen was born October 29, 1923 in St. Paul, MN to the late Edward Martin and Anne Bizjak Allen. He served his county during World War II as a Captain in the United States Army Air Corp and was retired from the F.A.A. where he worked for 27 years, lastly as an Assignment Program Officer. Mr. Allen is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David Calabrese of Herndon and son and daughter-in-law, Edward M. "Ted" and Leslie Allen of Tyrone, Ga. His grandchildren and their spouses, Daniel and Thippawan Pandee Calabrese; Michael and Rachel Calabrese, Benjamin and Uli Allen and Elisabeth Allen; and brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Scott and Barbara Allen of Kailua, HI also survive. Memorial services at Arlington National Cemetery will be held in September.
