Mrs. Elizabeth Compton Pulliam of 4854 Tom Fork Rd., Ringgold, VA died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the age of 70. She was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on November 5, 1942 to the late Buster Compton and the late Gracie Lee Clay Compton and was married to the late Walter Amos Pulliam. She was a member of Aarons Creek Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. Survivors include her sons, Amos Pulliam and wife, Lori of Virgilina, VA; Donald Pulliam and wife Marie of Oxford, NC.; Henry Pulliam and wife, Jennifer of Ringgold, VA. Daughter; Carolyn Dickerson and husband, Robert of Oxford, NC., three sisters, Geneva Smith and Janie Pulliam of Virgilina and Vernell Hubbard of Eden, NC. 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with Henry Smith conducting the services. The family will receive friends Tuesday night at Brooks Funeral from 7:00 until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home of Amos & Lori Pulliam, 1169 Rice School Rd., Virgilina, VA..
