Freddy Ross Culley

Mr. Freddy Ross Culley of 1162 Paradise Rd., Alton, VA died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the age of 67.Mr. Culley was born in Pittsylvania County on March 14, 1947 to the late Leroy Culley and the late Inez Eddins Culley and was married to Brenda Ann Culley. Mr. Culley enjoyed his profession as a Steel Superintendent with H. B. Zachary Construction.Among his many assignments were the building of Hyco, Mayo, and Clover Power Stations.When he wasn't on the job, he enjoyed being outdoors gardening, fishing, or hunting.Freddy always had a smile on his face, especially when he was with his family which he loved very much. Mr. Culley attended the New Covenant Worship Center. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Ann Culley; sons, Ricky Dale Culley and wife, Dana, Donnie Culley and wife, Stephanie; daughter, Lisa Jeffries and husband, Ronnie; brothers Leroy Culley, Frank Culley, Alfred Culley, and Johnny W. Culley; sisters Mary Lee Clayton and Bonita Gilliland.Also surviving are his grandchildren, Richard Dale Culley, Jeremy Culley, Masten Carr, Cole Culley, Austin Culley, Hayden Culley, Avaree Culley, and Calen Culley, and great grandchildren Jasmine Culley, Leeann Culley and Joseph Culley. Funeral services for Mr. Freddy Ross Culley will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grant & Deborah Dyer, and Rev. Scott Dyer officiating.Burial will be private.The family will receive friends Saturday, October 18 at Brooks Lyon Funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2 PM and at other times at the home, 1162 Paradise Rd., Alton, VA.
