Graham Leonard Jones

Graham Leonard Jones, 77, of Old Main St., Brookneal passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at home. He was the husband of Hazel Wilkinson Jones for 55 years Mr. Jones was born in Buffalo Junction, September 14, 1934 son of the late Otha L. Jones and Jessie Irene Hite Jones. He was a member and former deacon of Brookneal Baptist Church, a veteran of the US Navy, founder and owner of WODI Radio Station in Brookneal for over 25 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Mark Jones Kai of Portland, OR, Alan Jones Mary of Richmond, Scott Jones Diane of Greensboro, NC; one daughter, Susan Rebhun Rick of Harrisonburg; ten grandchildren, Bryan and Jake Hasson of Portland, OR, Mary Claire, Carson and Abby Jones of Richmond, Lane Scott, Elizabeth Graham and Haven Jones of Greensboro, NC, Graham and Danner Rebhun of Harrisonburg; two sisters, Doris Collier of Buffalo Junction and Gloria King Bobby of Richmond. A funeral service was conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, March 16, 2012 at Brookneal Baptist Church by the Rev. Roger Roller and the Rev. Doug Saunders with interment in Wickliffe Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Centra Hospice, 2097 Langhorne Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24501. Henderson Funeral Home in Brookneal served the Jones family.
