Greta Patton Price

HALIFAX Dr. Greta Ethel Patton Price of Halifax, VA went to her heavenly home Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the age of 84. She was born in Binghamton, NY on April 7, 1935 to the late Francis and Emily Patton and was married to the Reverend Dr. Rodney Francis Price. She was a professor at Boston Baptist College in Boston, MA. In additional to her husband, Greta is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Lynne Cassidy (Tim) of New Hampshire and Sharon Lee Durham (Victor) of Halifax; grandchildren, Alicia, Saisha, Kristina, Jesse, and Timothy II; great-grandchildren, Jaxyn, Parker, Ashlyn, and Julia; and a sister, Gloria Washburn. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with the Reverend Jack Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:00PM prior to the service.
