Hilda Crenshaw Rimmer

ALTON Mrs. Hilda Crenshaw Rimmer of Alton transitioned to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was born on September 28, 1944 in Halifax County to the late Willie and Irene Thaxton Crenshaw and was married for 40 years to Alvin Noel Rimmer, who survives. Hilda was a member of Centerville Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and was very active in her church. She was a former beautician with Glady’s Beauty Salon. Leaving behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Noel; son, Jody Wilborn; children, Terry Rimmer (Alicia), Bradford Todd Rimmer (Charlene) and Brian Rimmer (Kelly); grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Link. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 24 at Centerville Baptist Church with Pastor Todd McClure officiating. Interment will follow at Burchwood Cemetery in Roxboro, North Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 2 – 3 PM at Centerville Baptist Church.
