Jarrette Shelton Estep

TOWNSVILLE, NC - Jarrette Shelton Estep, age 84, died at his home, Tuesday,November 10, 2015. He was born in Butler, Pennsylvania on September 16, 1931 to parents Omar and Grace Oxley Estep. Jarrette was predeceased by his wife Ursula Elizabeth Wetzel Estep in 2011. He lived in Daniels, WV for over thirty years prior to moving to Clarksville in 1999.Mr. Estep served his country in the U. S. Army and retired as a coal representative from Progress Energy. Jarrette is survived by sons Jarrette D. Estep of Clarksville and Norris F. Estep of Morgantown, WV; sisters Jo Lopez of Mayborn, FL, and Greta Marzrio; grandchildren Jonathan, Lauren, Dawn, Jarrette, and Charles. Jarrette is predeceased by his son Charles J. Estep. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with Reverend Joey Tucker officiating. There will be a graveside service with military burial rites held Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Orchard Hills Memorial Gardens outside Hamlin, WV.
