Kenneth Wayne Rice

SOUTH BOSTON Kenneth Wayne Rice, Jr of South Boston passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the age of 39. Born in Halifax County on October 11, 1982, he was the son of Kenneth and Judy Comer Rice. Kenny was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved his work as a mechanic. He was a loving son, uncle and brother. In addition to his parents, Kenneth and Judy, he is survived by a sister, Porsha Conner; brother, Mark Womack; niece, Jessica Seate; nephew, Jarred Seate; great niece, Mason Seate; paternal grandparents, Eldon and Josephine Rice; best friend, Brandon Wilson and a host of aunts and uncles.He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Herbert and Janie Comer.
