Margaret Nunn Montague

Mrs. Margaret Nunn Montague, widow of Charles Anthony Montague, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the age of 89. Born in Halifax County, VA on February 9, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Walter Edwin Nunn and the late Hassie Tillotson Nunn. A 1947 graduate of Clarksville High School, Margaret was a long-time member of Clarksville Baptist Church. Mrs. Montague is survived by her daughter, Margaret Jean Montague (Doug) Nash of Alabama; her sons, Charles Anthony Montague, Jr. and William Edwin Montague both of Buffalo Junction; her brother Wallace (Lottie) Nunn and a sister Betty Lou Nunn (Frank) Perkins all of Virgilina; a sister in law Glenna Nunn of Clarksville; grandchildren, Kathryn Montague Henderson and Jared Charles Montague, and great grandchildren Atlas Montague and Wyatt Jake Henderson.She was preceded in death by her brothers, Malcolm “Mac” Nunn, William Nunn, and a sister and brother in law Emma Jean Nunn Moore and William Ashley Moore. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Greg Randall officiating. Burial will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery.
