Rusty Lee Perkins

SCOTTSBURG Rusty Lee Perkins, husband of Melanie Martin Perkins, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at the age of 55. He was born in Lynchburg, VA on November 24, 1965 to the late Paul Larry Perkins and Myrtle Perkins Williams. Rusty worked for DMH as a cigarette distributor.He loved riding motorcycles, target shooting, and fishing.He enjoyed the simple things in life and was devoted to taking care of his family. In addition to his wife, Melanie Martin Perkins, he is survived by his son Joshua Perkins (Danielle) of South Boston, VA; his daughters, Meghan Everett (Mike) of Chesapeake, VA, and Willow Perkins of Scottsburg, VA; his brother, Ray Perkins (Carolyn) of South Boston, VA; his sister, Ashley Perkins of Denver, CO.Rusty is further survived by his mother, Myrtle Perkins Williams of South Boston, VA; his grandchildren, Jada, Gabby, Kail, Aleigh, and Liam; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private memorial service.
