Stella Casmira Madura

Stella Casmira Madura, 98, widow of John J. Madura, died Thursday, October 07, 2010 at the Woodview in South Boston. The daughter of Anton and Anastasia Brozychi, she was born on March 4, 1912 in Warwick, NY. A longtime resident of New Port Richey, FL, Stella was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was active in the Altar and Rosary Society, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Polish American Club of Pasco Co. and the West Pasco Historical Society. Stella was a volunteer at Community Hospital, Red Cross, S.O.L.V.E. and Schrader Elementary School. An 11 AM memorial Mass was said by Father Nixon Negparanon and Deacon John Sadowski on Monday, October 11, 2010 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Stella is survived by her children, John Madura of Dunn, NC; Jerome Madura and Agatha Szalkowski, both of Clarksville; Prudence Simonds of Phoenix, AR and Joyce Roberts-Roth of Bayonet Point, FL. Sisters, Loretta Albanese and Nettie Scherman, thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren also survive. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Gardens, in Hudson, FL. Memorials may be directed to St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 805 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, VA 23927.
