Vera Crawford Elliotte

Buffalo Junction, VA Vera Crawford Elliotte, 83, died at Sentera Halifax Regional Hospital the morning of October 19, 2015.Vera was born in Danville to the late Franklin A. Crawford and Edna Spears Crawford.Vera was a member of Freedom Worship Center of South Boston and she loved going to yard sales, doing her word puzzles, and her flowers. All of her grandchildren were her life, including those in the daycare center where she was known as “Granny” to everyone. Surviving Vera is her son, Thomas T. Cerogino of Philadelphia, PA, daughter, Darlene Elliott, of Buffalo Junction; sister Frances Costello of Philadelphia, PA, brother Daniel Crawford of Philadelphia, PA, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one expected great-great grandchild.Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, Woodrow Wilson Elliotte.The family will receive friends from 7pm until 9pm on Wednesday, October, 21, 2015 at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. The family of Vera Crawford Elliotte is being cared for by Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville.
